Desert Wild is the story of Caitlyn Spencer, a California girl who helps her mother run an organic products store, and Sonny Wild Horse, a photographer, member of the Tohono O’odham Nation and a man caught between world he grew up in (the Sonoran Desert) and California, where Caitlyn lives. Due to a disagreement, Sonny goes back to the desert, and Caitlyn goes to try and find him. She is aided in this endeavor by her mother’s car, which has a special GPS navigator installed.
